PHAST is uniquely placed with its high quality public health team and network. PHAST is a public health consultancy. The NHS increasingly outsources public health related work, and PHAST is able to compete successfully for such business.
The PHAST approach enables us to put together a Project or Course Team with the complementary skill set required for each individual project. This enables us to keep costs to a minimum by using a mix of junior and senior Associates for different elements of the project.
In the present economic climate the importance of sound budgetary control has never been more critical and services may have to be reconfigured, which is often politically sensitive. The employment of a neutral third party to deliver the difficult messages may present significant advantages.

PHAST places high value on quality assurance and all projects include quality assurance processes undertaken by senior consultants. This ensures all projects are delivered to a high standard and meet the commissioner's quality expectatiuons. PHAST runs its projects using Prince 2 project management. This along with sound quality assurance enables any potential issue or requirement to be identified and highlighted promptly. PHAST has a sound network of consultants with strong health care experience whose skills can be drawn on if new needs emerge during a project.
