This full day workshop helps participants understand how to better focus and implement Strategic and Business Planning within the context of NHS and public health environments.
Style: This highly practical workshop offers a combination of learning styles and case studies that will engage participants and help them relate the learning to their work.
This course is aimed at: Anyone who develops projects, programmes or work plans.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand the fundamentals of strategy and business planning and the the importance of its role in effective management in NHS and related environments
- Understand and be able to use/apply a variety of strategic and business planning tools and techniques
- Understand the linkage of organisational and departmental strategy to integrated Business Plans and to the implementation aspects thereof
- Have had hands-on experience of planning a particular programme, projects or initiative
This full day workshop is part of a series of four business skills modules. While each workshop can be taken on its own, it is recommended that all four workshops are undertaken. Further workshops in this series are:
