The Public Health Action Support Team CIC (PHAST) provides public health expertise and services to policy leaders, decision makers, frontline staff and patient groups. It is a unique public health consultancy with over 100 experienced, expert public health professionals committed to improving health and reducing inequalities.
PHAST consultants provide evidence based, high quality, outcome focused public health services and advice. Many have worked at high level in the NHS, the Department of Health or in academia. PHAST also has experts in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, epidemiology, health economics, ethics, ecology, psychology, sociology and law.
PHAST has delivered over 250 projects to a wide range of clients such as government departments, Strategic Health Authorities, Primary Care Trusts, Royal Colleges and Charities. Quality assurance and due diligence processes are in place to the highest standards. PHAST is a Community Interest Company, a type of social enterprise
